Dr. Holger Gassner is internationally recognized for his expertise in facial plastic and aesthetic surgery. He is the only USA trained and board certified facial plastic surgeon in Europe (“Board certified Facial Plastic Surgeon”, ABFPRS). Dr. Gassner regularly presents as invited speaker at renowned international conferences on his innovative surgical techniques. The focus of his work lies on strategies to avoid complications and to achieve natural looking results. His endonasal rhinoplasty techniques are globally recognized and widely adopted. In addition to the frequent “primary surgeries”, he performsa large number of difficult revision surgeries to improve unsatisfactory results from previous operations, especially after nasal surgery and face lift. His patients come from Germany, Europe and abroad.
Dr. Holger Gassner is fully board certified specialist in ORL / Head and Neck Surgery in the USA as well as in Germany. He has completed his full specialist residency training as part of a 7-year stay at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, USA. He completed his training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery (AAFPRS Felowship) under the direction of Prof. Wayne F. Larrabee jr., Prof. Craig Murakami and Prof. Kris Moe at the University of Washington in Seattle, USA.
Dr. Gassner directed the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Regensburg for 9 years. He is Professor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Regensburg. Dr. Gassner is the President of the European Board for Certification in Facial Plastic Surgery, which oversees examinantion and certification of facial plastic surgeons in Europe.
Since 2017, Dr. Gassner has been Director of the “Finesse Center for Facial Plastic Surgery” in Regensburg, Germany.
